The incident occurred July 29 in Grand Haven.
Jennifer M. Edmondson, 42, was awaiting sentencing on a prior third-offense drunken driving charge at the time, officials noted. Her previous drunken driving conviction was from a Feb. 7, 2017, incident in Wright Township.
Edmondson faces up to five years in prison when she is sentenced Jan. 21, 2019. The minimum jail sentence she faces is 30 days.
Her guilty plea was entered in exchange for prosecutors dismissing a driving on a suspended license charge. She will also not be charged as an habitual offender.
A blood test revealed her blood alcohol level was 0.179 from the July 29 incident.
