HOLLAND TWP. — Two Grand Haven residents were among three people injured in a two-car crash Friday evening in Holland Township.

Ralph, 74 and Judith, 73, Abraham suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the rollover crash that occurred about 6:53 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Butternut Drive and New Holland Street, said Sgt. Christie Wendt of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

Also injured was the driver of the other car, Graciela Mandujano, 26, of Holland. She suffered minor injuries.

Wendt said ambulances transferred the injured people to Holland Hospital.

The crash occurred when Graciela, who was eastbound on New Holland, stopped for a stop sign and then proceeded to make a turn onto southbound Butternut and hit the Abraham car in the passenger door.

The impact caused the Abraham vehicle to overturn, go off the road and strike some mailboxes and a tree, Wendt said. The Abrahams were pinned inside their vehicle for about 25 minutes before being extricated by firefighters.
