2 injured in crash at 120th Ave., Lake Michigan Drive

ROBINSON TWP. — Two people were injured during a crash at the intersection of Lake Michigan Drive and 120th Avenue on Thursday night.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Cal Keuning said the crash occurred at 8:42 p.m. when a vehicle heading north on 120th Avenue, driven by 55-year-old Pete Ackley of North Muskegon, turned west onto Lake Michigan Drive and collided with a vehicle heading south on 120th Avenue, driven by 63-year-old Holland resident Robert Boyden.

According to Keuning, Boyden and his passenger, 48-year-old Kristi Winters of Holland, were both injured and were not wearing seat belts. 

“Robert and his passenger, Kristi Winters, were taken to Holland Hospital in stable condition,” Keuning said.

Assisting the Sheriff’’s Office at the scene were Robinson Township Fire Department and North Ottawa Community Ambulance.

The incident was being investigated by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
