Police seek suspect in Holland Township stabbing

HOLLAND TWP. — A 29-year-old Holland area man is being sought in connection with the stabbing of another 29-year-old Holland Township resident Tuesday afternoon, said Capt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

The stabbing was believed to have occurred about 2:30 p.m. at a building in the 500 block of Butternut Drive. The suspect then fled the scene, Bennett said.

The victim was transported by private vehicle to Holland Hospital. He was transferred to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids in life-threatening condition, Bennett said.

Police are looking for a man called Lucky Ramirez. He is a light-complected Hispanic man with long hair. He was last seen wearing a maroon polo shirt and khaki shorts.
