ALLENDALE —  Police are looking for help identifying two men who allegedly robbed a pizza restaurant employee early Wednesday morning.

The victim was leaving work at Peppinos, 5064 Lake Michigan Drive, just after 2 a.m. Wednesday, when he noticed two men near his car, said Sgt. J. Douglas of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department.

They pointed a semi-automatic handgun at him and demanded his money, Douglas said. The suspects fled into the Allendale Meadows Mobile Home Park with an undisclosed amount of money.

Deputies searched the area with dogs, but were not able to find anything.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, age 20-25, wearing bandanas on their faces. One man was wearing a short-sleeve button down, flannel-type shirt. The other was wearing a white or light-colored shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 616-738-4000, Central Dispatch non-emergency at 800-249-0911, or Silent Observer at 1-877-88 SILENT.
