Sheriff's Department seeks car wash robbery suspects

HOLLAND TWP. — Police are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Holland-area car wash.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Classics Car Wash, 3298 144th Ave. in Holland Township, at 10 a.m. Monday. Police said two men approached a 33-year-old Holland man while he was at the car wash, demanding change.

While the man was gathering change, the men attacked him with some type of cutting instrument, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The victim is being treated for minor injuries at Holland Hospital. His name is being withheld.

The suspects are described as two black men, ages 20-25. One has short hair with waves, and the other has short dreadlocks and a tattoo of a small cross on his forehead.
