HOLLAND TWP. — Police are seeking the identity of a woman who hid in a Holland-area Kohl’s store and then stole some clothing after employees left for the night.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the store’s alarm company, alerting them to the thief inside the store at 12288 Felch St. in Holland Township.

A female is visible in surveillance video putting clothes into a black Kohl’s bag and then forcing a door to get out of the store, said Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Sheriff’s Office. The woman — described as a white female, age 40-50, with short blonde hair and large frame glasses — hid in the store until after it closed for the night on Sunday and employees were gone.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office or Silent Observer at 877-887-4536.
