CROCKERY TWP. — A 40-year-old Hudsonville woman was injured in a one-car crash near Nunica early Tuesday morning.

Ambria Arnst was in stable condition at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon following the 12:50 a.m. crash, according to Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Her injuries were not life-threatening, Wildfong said.

Police said Arnst was driving a 2007 Kia Forte west on Leonard Road and failed to negotiate a curve at 112th Avenue. Her car left the road, tipped onto its side and struck a tree with its roof.

Wildfong said the impact knocked the car back onto its wheels. The vehicle continued and struck another tree with its front end.

Crockery Township firefighters responded to the scene along with Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies and North Ottawa Community Hospital paramedics.
