SPRING LAKE TWP. — A Nunica woman suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash Sunday afternoon at a Spring Lake Township intersection.

Kali Wisman-Bishop, 27, sought her own treatment after the 12:30 p.m. crash, said Sgt. Cal Keuning of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

Wisman-Bishop was traveling on 144th Avenue when she stopped for the stop sign at State Road, and then proceeded into the path of a westbound car driven by a 16-year-old Nunica boy.

The boy’s father said they had just pulled out of their driveway and, fortunately, didn’t have time to build up speed before the crash.

The two occupants of the second car, as well as an infant in the Wisman-Bishop vehicle, were not injured.

Keuning said the crash remains under investigation.
