A Grand Haven man suffered minor injuries when another car ran a red light and hit his vehicle Wednesday evening.

Roy Overway, 82, suffered cuts to his arm in the crash that occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Police said Overway was driving east on Robbins Road when a vehicle traveling north on U.S. 31 drove through a red light at Robbins Road, according to Grand Haven Public Safety Director Jeff Hawke.

The northbound vehicle was being driven by Claudine Trontin of Lowell. Trontin, 49, was pinned inside her car for a brief amount of time, Hawke said.
