One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a three-car crash in the southbound lanes of the U.S. 31 drawbridge Monday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly before 10:30 a.m. One lane of traffic was getting through at the scene of the crash.

A woman driving a white Chevrolet Suburban in the left lane stopped for traffic in front of her, said Sgt. Josh Tomes of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety. A 28-year-old Grand Haven man in a red Chrysler 200 swerved right to try to avoid her, but still struck the Suburban. A man driving a yellow pickup truck then rear-ended the Chrysler.

No other injuries were reported, Tomes said.

The crash is still under investigation.
