HOLLAND TWP. — A clerk was injured and narcotics stolen during an armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy on Holland’s north side early Thursday morning.

Deputies responded to the store at the intersection of Douglas and River streets in Holland Township after a clerk called for help at about 5:19 a.m., said Capt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The clerk said that a short time before her call, two men armed with handguns entered the store and demanded narcotics. She reported that the men assaulted and restrained her before leaving with an unknown amount of narcotics, Bennett said.

The two suspects fled the store and no vehicle was seen, he said.

The clerk suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police used the store’s surveillance video to get photos of the suspects. They are asking the public to help identify the men.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Observer at 877-887-4536 or leave a tip online at mosotips.com.

Holland city police assisted at the scene.
