'Endangered missing advisory' for Lansing-area woman

UPDATE (Monday, 8:21 p.m.): Danielle Martinez has been located in Lansing Township, police reported Monday evening.

WOOD-TV reported that Lansing Township police said Martinez was found at the Lansing City Market at around 7:15 p.m. Monday. She had apparently overdosed and was hospitalized, but is expected to survive, the television station said on its website.

The Michigan State Police have issued an “endangered missing advisory” for a Lansing-area woman who they say may be headed to the Grand Haven area.

Police said Monday afternoon that Danielle Dallys Martinez, 21, is distraught and suicidal over losing her boyfriend to a drowning. She was last seen Monday in Lansing.

Martinez is white; 5-foot, 5-inches tall; weighs about 115 pounds; has brown hair and eyes; and has a tattoo on her right hip that says “RIP Jose.” She is driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, with the license plate No. DHA6250, police said.
