Police seek information in party store armed robbery

HOLLAND TWP. — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Holland-area party store Sunday night.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Repetes Party Store, 12719 Riley St. in Holland Township after an armed robbery was reported shortly after 11 p.m.

Officials said that a light-skinned male dressed in all-black clothing entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded all of the money from the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Deputies searched the area with a K-9 unit and were able to track the suspect for a short distance before the track was lost.

The suspect was described as about 6 feet tall and weighing between 150 and 200 pounds.

The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff's Office detective unit. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Ottawa County 911 or Silent Observer at 877-887-4536.
