Four hurt in Allendale Township crash

ALLENDALE TWP. — Two adults and two children were injured in a two-car crash Tuesday morning at an Allendale-area intersection.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at 8:22 a.m.

Police said Andrew Frisbie, 20, of Allendale was driving a 2008 Kia Optima east on Pierce Street and continued through the stop sign at 60th Avenue, where he struck a southbound Chevrolet Impala driven by Curtis Jenison, 60, also of Allendale. The Impala spun around, blocking the intersection, according to Sgt. Cal Keuning of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. 

Frisbie was taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Jenison was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, also in stable condition.

Two juveniles in Jenison’s car were taken by ambulance to Spectrum Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, also in stable condition.

All of the people involved in the crash were wearing seat belts, police said. 

The crash remains under investigation.
