HOLLAND TWP. — A West Olive woman was injured in a two-vehicle rollover crash Thursday afternoon just west of Zeeland.

Police said Rosemary Morris, 58, of Holland was driving a 2005 Dodge pickup truck east on Chicago Drive shortly before 1 p.m. when she started to turn left into a business and turned in the path of another vehicle.

Devan Freeman of West Olive was driving a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 west on Chicago Drive when Morris turned in front of her. The vehicles collided and Freeman’s SUV rolled over, causing her to be trapped inside her vehicle.

Freeman, 24, had to be extricated from her vehicle by Holland Township firefighters, according to Sgt. David VanderPloeg of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. Freeman suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Holland Hospital by AMR Ambulance.

Police said that Morris, who was not injured, made an improper turn in front of Freeman’s vehicle.
