One driver was injured in a two-car crash Sunday afternoon on North Beacon Boulevard at Jackson Street.

Police responded to the scene at 2:30 p.m.

A vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Twin Lake woman crossed the center line and hit a stopped car in the turn lane, head on, said Sgt. Lee Adams of the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety.

The woman said that she looked away for a second and hit the other car, Adams said.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening neck, face and arm injuries. An ambulance transported her to North Ottawa Community Hospital. She was ticketed for causing the crash.

A 52-year-old Grand Haven man, the driver of the stopped car, was not injured.
