Holland man arrested for window peeping

HOLLAND — Police took a Holland man into custody at his home on Tuesday for complaints of window peeping.

David Angelo Roberts, 27, is the suspect for an incident in late May in the 1700 block of 104th Avenue, outside Zeeland. He is currently in the Ottawa County Jail.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office received a number of calls on May 30 regarding suspicious behavior and a subject looking into the windows of occupied homes. An investigation led police to Roberts, the Sheriff’s Office said, and a warrant was obtained for his arrest following the complaints.

The Sheriff’s Office believes this is not Roberts’ first offense, and he is connected to other incidents over the past four months in Ottawa County. He may also be involved in similar cases in Livonia where he has family.

In addition, Roberts has been charged with two counts of resisting arrest when detained Tuesday.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Silent Observer at 877-887-4536.
