GRAND HAVEN TWP. — A 91-year-old Grand Haven woman was sent to the hospital with injuries she suffered in a two-car crash Monday afternoon.

Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Lincoln Street and 152nd Avenue in Grand Haven Township at 2:44 p.m.

Police said Bette Bosma was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra south on 152nd and had stopped at the stop sign at Lincoln before pulling into the intersection. That’s when her car was struck by a 2005 Acura that was westbound on Lincoln.

The Acura was being driven by Elijah Rilett, 20, of Ada. Police said he was not injured in the crash.

Bosma was transported to an area hospital, where she was in stable condition Monday afternoon, said Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Sheriff’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
