ROBINSON TWP. — The National Weather Service has removed the flood warning for Robinson Township after the Grand River dropped below flood stage in the area during the day Monday.

A reading taken Tuesday morning showed the water level at the 118th Avenue gauge at 12.8 feet. It was down to 12.65 feet early Tuesday afternoon.

Flood stage is 13.3 feet.

The water level had still been above flood stage, at 13.8 feet, on Monday morning. It had risen as high as 14.2 feet this past weekend because of an ice jam downriver toward Grand Haven.
