SPRING LAKE — From floating money to linking rings, Eric Yager brought magic to life Tuesday at Spring Lake District Library.

Throughout the afternoon, Yager wowed the audience during his Mystic Prince Magic Show.

One of his tricks involved an audience member using a large “magical” crayon to turn blank pages into fully illustrated and colored works of art. Cassidy Kuzinski, 5, said that was her favorite trick because it was “cool.”

Kuzinski said she enjoyed seeing her first magic show. “It was really cool,” she said.

Ariana Cihak, 8, said the coloring book trick was her favorite, and it inspired her to try it on her mom at home.

Although Emma Helmers, 6, said she has watched magicians on TV, Yager was the first magician she has seen in real life. Helmers said she has her own magic set, and her favorite tricks are making money float and a trick that involves a ball “falling” through a cup.

Brianna Sheridan, also 6, said she was glad she had the opportunity to attend her first magic show. However, she wasn’t able to figure out how Yager pulled off his acts.

“It was magic,” Sheridan determined.
