The City of Grand Haven is closing portions of several streets this week.

Westbound Robbins Road, from Beechtree Street to Barbara Court, will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 10-12, due to the repair of a fire hydrant. The street is expected to be reopened by 5 p.m. Thursday.

During the closure, there will be a traffic shift for westbound traffic on Robbins, while southbound traffic on Beechtree will be unable to turn west onto Robbins. The city’s public works department asks that motorists follow the detour signs.

Fifth Street between Washington and Franklin avenues will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, July 10-11, due to a masonry restoration project at the Ottawa County Courthouse. It is expected to be reopened to traffic sometime Wednesday.

Also, eastbound Washington between Fourth and Fifth streets will be closed to through-traffic on Thursday and Friday, July 12-13, for the restoration work at the courthouse. It is expected to be reopened by 5 p.m. Friday.
