No Tribune on Monday

The Grand Haven Tribune will not print a newspaper on Monday, Oct. 8, in observation of Columbus Day.

Earlier this year, we contracted with the U.S. Postal Service for our home delivery service. Due to that agreement, we will not print on holidays observed by the Postal Service, including Columbus Day (Oct. 8), Veterans Day (observed Nov. 12), Thanksgiving (Nov. 22) and Christmas Day (Dec. 25).

Other post office holidays are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, George Washington’s birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

While you won’t receive a printed edition of the Tribune on those days, you’ll be able to keep up with breaking news, obituaries, sports and more online at www.grandhaventribune.com.

If you’re not familiar with our website, it’s worth taking a tour. You’ll find much of the same news that appears in our daily print edition of the Tribune, plus much more, including extensive photo galleries and videos.
