Grand Haven’s annual Irish Fest returns next week.

One for the Foxes and Grand Haven High School’s GOTAK will perform during the seventh annual event, which will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at First Presbyterian Church, 508 Franklin Ave.

Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased online at www.grandhavenorchestra.org under the “tickets” tab. Note that there is a service fee when tickets are purchased online.

Remaining tickets will be sold at the door.

The festival was standing-room-only last year, said Grand Haven High School orchestra director Melissa Meyers.

Given the busy schedule for the high school’s Performing Arts Center, the Grand Haven church hosted the event last year. Meyers said the group was invited back for a second year.

GOTAK students learn 1-2 songs with the professional group also performing in the Irish Fest. Students will also get to see One for the Foxes perform.

The high school’s GOTAK ensemble was started in 2005 and is comprised of GHHS orchestra members. The group meets once a week after school and performs at different venues throughout the year, such as Loutit District Library and the American Legion post.
