When, where will egg hunts be held?

With the Easter holiday on the horizon, many area churches, businesses and organizations are hosting community egg hunts over the next two weekends. 

Here’s a list of when and where they’ll be taking place:

Saturday, April 13

10 a.m. – Harvest Bible Chapel West Olive, 10520 Stanton St. 

1 p.m. – United Methodist Church of the Dunes, 717 Sheldon Road, Grand Haven. Easter egg hunt and family movie.

Friday, April 19

6-8 p.m. – Trinity Reformed Church, 1330 S. Ferry St., Grand Haven. Free dinner begins at 6 p.m. with indoor glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt for children of all ages to follow.

Saturday, April 20

9:45 a.m. – Lakeshore Fellowship Church, 16790 Van Wagoner Road, Spring Lake Township. Open to ages 2-10.

10 a.m. – First Presbyterian Church. Children age 2 thru second grade are welcome. Please bring your own baskets.

10 a.m. – Grand Haven Gospel Church, 1805 Waverly Ave., Grand Haven.

10 a.m. – Hope Reformed Church, 14932 Mercury Drive, Grand Haven Township.

10 a.m. – Spring Lake Community Egg Hunt, 808 Central Ave.

10 a.m. – Coopersville Farm Museum and Event Center, 375 Main St.

11 a.m. – Grand Haven Community Egg Hunt, Central Park, 421 Columbus Ave. Sponsored by Coldwell Banker Woodland Schmidt and Lake Michigan Credit Union. 

1 p.m – The Salvation Army, 310 N. Despelder St., Grand Haven. Presented by the Grand Haven/Spring Lake Chapter No. 132, Order of the Eastern Star.
