A “Fuel Up for Katty Shack” pasta dinner, which is open to the public, will take place at St. Patrick’s Family Center, 920 Fulton Ave., from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday. Tickets for the dinner are $10 for ages 13 and older, and $7 for ages 12 and younger.
The registration fee for the run is $25 through midnight Thursday. Late registration on Friday and Saturday is $30.

Packet pick-up and late registration will take place at St. Pat’s during Friday’s dinner, and from 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 527 Taylor Ave. The race starts at 9 a.m., with the 1-mile fun run/walk starting after that.
A free pancake breakfast, as well as door prizes and awards, will be at the church following the race.
Brown and the Zimmers were shot and beaten, and their house set on fire, in September 2008. Troy Brake is serving a life sentence in prison without chance of parole after being sentenced for the murders.
