More than 60 boats lined up on Spring Lake in front of the home of Jon and Jennifer Sorber for their annual concert, Soberpalooza.

The concert features local blues band Thirsty Perch. This year’s opening acts included local singer/songwriter Miriam DeYoung and friends Kim and Ashley.

“I don’t know how to play an instrument so this is as close as I can come to being in a band,” Jon Sorber joked. “So we just threw a little concert here. ... All I can say is have an awesome day and God bless America.”

As the musicians played, more and more boats gathered on Spring Lake, mooring together in long lines. Zodiacs, small Boston Whalers and paddle boards manouvered their way between collections of cabin cruisers and kids splashing around on large rafts.
