“The weather — it’s perfect here,” said Joanne Adams of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., who was selling her Just For You handmade jewelry at the show for the third straight year. “And I love Michigan. I think it’s a wonderful state.”

Carolyn Jazdzyk of Spring Lake picked out a jewelry piece from Adams’ display to buy her daughter, Janee, 17.

“We’re just having a mother-daughter day,” Carolyn said.

The Chamber of Commerce organized a Family Fun Day on Saturday for children to enjoy crafts and activities on Second Street.
