Linda Stoner, age 66, of Ada, Michigan, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Medi-Lodge at the Shore in Grand Haven. She was born February 24, 1953, in Owosso, Michigan, to Irwin and Nancy (Jonker) Stoner.

Linda traveled and lived in many places, including Devil’s Lake, Spring Lake, Grand Rapids and Ada. Despite living with a developmental disability, Prader Willi syndrome, she attended public schools in Addison and the Ottawa Area Center. Linda worked at Kandu Industries and Hope Network for several years until she retired. She was a past volunteer at the Humane Society of Grand Rapids and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, word searches and playing solitaire on her tablet. Once Linda was moved to Medi-Lodge, she enjoyed playing bingo and attending church services.

Family was especially important to her, and she was so proud to be a great-aunt to her great-nephews. Linda touched many lives, and she will be remembered fondly by those who were blessed to meet her.

Linda will be lovingly missed by her father, Irwin; step-mother, Marcia; brothers, Kurt (Lisa) Stoner of Florida and Mark Stoner of California; sister, Lisa Stoner of Michigan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prader Willi Syndrome Association or the Humane Society of West Michigan. Please visit to sign Linda’s online guestbook.
