Andrew was World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran. He moved to the Spring Lake-Grand Haven area in the late 1950s to join high school friends at Bowen and Fullerton Construction Company. Andrew continued a 40-plus-year career in the construction equipment business at Hasper, now Cloverdale Equipment Company. His interests were football, boating, fishing, working on cars and reading. He enjoyed traveling and camping in their trailer with his wife in their early retirement.
Andrew will be remembered with love by his entire family, including his daughters: Susan (and partner John North) Stewart of Elgin, Ill., Andrea Stewart of Holland, Mich., and Laura (Mark) Stewart Koch of Peculiar, Mo.; son, Scott Stewart of Muskegon; three grandchildren: Andrew D. (Laura) Stewart, Sandra (Chance) Stewart Peasley and Mackenzie Koch; and three great-grandchildren: Wyatt Stewart Peasley, Everleigh Stewart and Daphne Pearl Peasley. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Eunice; parents; and a sister, Mary Veath.
