Evelyn was a member of St. Patrick–St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family, knitting, playing cards, scrabble and cooking.
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandy (Bob) Huff; five sons: Henry Klukos Jr., Dan Klukos, Jerry (Gail) Klukos, Warren (Debbie) Klukos and Samuel “Sam” (Stacey) Klukos; 10 grandchildren: Amy (Cam) Feenstra, Scott (Staci) Klukos, Jerry (Karyn) Klukos Jr., Alexa Buitendyk, Dena (Jeff) Dunn, David (Tina) Scott, and Carrie (Jason) VanSlooten, Bob (Rhonda) Huff Jr., Michele (George) Harvey, Craig (Jodie) Huff; 12 great-grandchildren: Dakota Feenstra, Caylee Feenstra, Zack Feenstra, Connor Klukos, Emma Klukos, Jude Klukos, Cees Klukos, Teia Klukos, Justin Stout, Jonathon Stout, Ryan VanSlooten and Nina Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Bakale; and three brothers: Frank, John and Peter Kelava.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon Monday, July 8, 2019, at St. Patrick–St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Schwartz officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the Mass at church. Memorial contributions to Hospice of North Ottawa Community are appreciated.
