Short-term, but total closures of U.S. 31 at the Grand Haven drawbridge are planned for about an hour Monday morning.

Crews are planning to  conduct test runs to open and close the drawbridge, according to Michigan Department of Transportation spokesperson John Richard.

The closures are planned between 10 and 11 a.m.

The testing is dependent on the weather.
