Grand Haven standout Davis breaks school records at Oakland

Former Grand Haven standout Krysteena Davis continues to showcase her talents at the collegiate level as a middle blocker for the Oakland University volleyball team.

Davis, who already set single-game school records for hitting percentage (.667) and total blocks (10), finished her redshirt sophomore season setting new single season school marks for total blocks and total block assists in one season.

She finished with 143 total blocks combined with 133 block assists for the Golden Grizzlies, and appeared in a school record 125 sets during the season.

Davis also led the team in blocks per set with 1.14, which ranks fifth all-time in a single season and was fourth in the Horizon League. She finished the season ranked 46th in the NCAA in total blocks.
