USPS suspends deliveries, meaning your Tribune will not be delivered until Friday

Due to dangerously cold temperatures, the U.S. Postal Service will not be making deliveries locally on Thursday. It also did not deliver the mail Wednesday.

As a result, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s Grand Haven Tribune will not be delivered to your mailbox. You will receive them as soon as the USPS resumes its delivery services, hopefully on Friday.

For local news, sports and weather, log onto www.ghtrib.com, which will continue to be updated.

You can also access our e-edition — an exact digital replica of our printed newspaper — at https://specialsections.grandhaventribune.com.

In Michigan, those affected are ZIP codes beginning in 486-491 and 493-499.

Service is also being suspended Wednesday in parts of Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska and the Dakotas.

Customers can call 800-275-8777 for available, alternate post office retail locations, or check the Postal Service website, www.usps.com, for more information on the suspension.
