Spring Lake Village Council gave Chris Burns a resounding “thumbs up” during its recent evaluation of the village manager.
Yoga was the featured activity during the Thursday evening Peace in the Park event at Spring Lake’s Central Park. It was part of Bike Week.

The first-ever Bike Week runs Monday through Saturday, Aug. 20-25, at various locations in the Village of Spring Lake.
The first-ever event will take place at Muskegon’s Pere Marquette Park from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $30, which includes all lessons and activities.
A public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at Ferrysburg City Hall to discuss changing the 80-acre park's name to Coast Guard Memorial Park.
