The Wheaton College women’s golf team finished off their fall season with a fourth-place finish at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Golf Championships.

Spring Lake graduate Karissa Raschke is now through all but one semester of her collegiate golf career.

As a four-year varsity player for Wheaton, Raschke has received first team All-Conference honors three times and during her freshmen year was the only newbie to be named first team All-Conference.

Her senior fall season culminated at the CCIW championships, where the Thunder finished fourth after three days of play.

Raschke shot a 91 on Thursday to put her in 27th place overall after the first day of competition. She shot a second round score of 97 and finished off the tournament with a 94 in her final round for a total score of 282.

The Thunder will return to the course in the spring to compete in the CCIW’s NCAA qualifying season.
