Patrick Moran, executive director of the Greater Ottawa County United Way, didn’t mince words when describing how COVID-19 has affected his organization.

“I can’t think of a single thing we do today that is the same as when we did it pre-COVID,” Moran said. “Whether that’s engaging volunteers, dispersing volunteers, recruiting donors, running campaigns, distributing food, doing tax support – everything single thing we do, and most of the things our partners do, have had to be completely redesigned.”
