A solid foot of base, cold temperatures and a constant barrage of fluffy white snow have combined to start a banner season for winter outdoor activities.
“We’ve been very busy,” said Ottawa County Parks spokesperson Jessica VanGinhoven, when asked about Pigeon Creek Park. “This is definitely the best winter we’ve had in a couple years. The week of winter break brought in more revenue than all season last year.”
