Janet Hasselbring believes it was a miracle that her newly acquired pet was safely returned to her after running between cars at the busy Grand Haven intersection of Jackson Street and U.S. 31 on Palm Sunday.

“This is Snack,” the Ferrysburg resident wrote on a social media post to thank everyone who helped. “She is alive today because of two special heroes and a host of people, who perhaps unknowingly saved her life.”
