U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, said he isn’t happy with the outcome of the 2020 election, but the congressman accepts the results.

U.S. Rep. Bill Huizenga, R-Zeeland, is among those pushing President Joe Biden to reopen the border between the U.S. and Canada.

During a telephone town hall on Wednesday evening, Huizenga shared these thoughts while discussing election integrity and COVID-19 relief.

Huizenga says "that he does not believe there was widespread voter fraud in Michigan." And yet the Texas lawsuit he signed challenged election results in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin which went directly to the Supreme Court. The high court said Texas did not have standing (no evidence) to bring the case. This rejected Texas lawsuit specifically included Michigan - the same state that Huizenga now tells us he does not believe there was any widespread election fraud.

Of course, his explanation for his signature on this seditious lawsuit is not logical, makes no sense, is what some call being a "weasel" or "talking out both sides of your mouth".

I join those writing Letters to the Editor today calling for Huizenga's recall. He has strayed too far from West Michigan values this time by supporting an action whose sole purpose was to cast doubt on an election that was won fair and square, to summarily nullify millions of votes, and discredit hard-working election officials.

Since he is so passionate about perceived attacks on US institutions, such as elections, I wonder what he had to say about the Russian hackers working for the Kremlin who are believed to be behind breaches of U.S. government computer systems at the departments of Treasury, Commerce and Homeland Security that may have lasted months before they were discovered?

This is a huge and deeply serious cyberattack although Trump has made no public comments about it whatsoever (apparently he has chosen to receive any national security briefings for at least the last 80 days). Any thoughts, Rep. Huizenga?
