Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Coopersville/Polkton firefighters responded to an oil spill in Coopersville late Wednesday morning.

The spill occurred at the intersection of 64th Avenue and Randall Street at about 11 a.m. The police investigation at the scene revealed that barrels of oil being carried by a flat-bed truck had fallen onto the westbound lanes of Randall Street.
