The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office arrested a man following a home break-in on the 8000 block of 112th Avenue in Olive Township early Friday morning. 

OLIVE TWP. — The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home break-in on the 8000 block of 112th Avenue in Olive Township early Friday morning.

The homeowners said an unknown person had entered their home, then fled when confronted.

Several Sheriff’s Office units responded to the call, along with a K-9 unit. A short time later, a 38-year-old Olive Township man was taken into custody, according to police.

There were no injuries. Police said the suspect’s name will be released following arraignment.
