WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten, D-Grand Rapids, shared with constituents why she voted against two bills relating to law enforcement officers during Police Week.

Scholten, a Democratic elected to serve Michigan’s third congressional district – which includes Grand Haven – explained in an email newsletter the three bills she voted on.
