A Spring Lake woman charged in connection with a disagreement over wearing a face mask at a Grand Haven pizza shop has been found competent to stand trial, according to court records.

A competency hearing for Tammy Rose North, 56, was held Tuesday. The next step in the case is a preliminary examination set for Oct. 6 in Grand Haven District Court.
