Lakeview Marine & Tackle is temporarily closed, but the Grand Haven bait shop’s owner said he remains in contact with customers who are unhappy about boating restrictions enacted late last week due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
John Stillson was checking on the store Monday, answering a few phone calls and puttering around while expressing his thoughts on Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s executive order that banned use of motorized boats in Michigan through April 30. The order went into effect Friday night.
