The city of Grand Haven haas accepted bids from Lake Effect Kitchen and The Surf Shop for a pair of trolleys that have been retired from use.

After years of service to the community, the city felt it was time to replace the trolleys. Instead of disposing of them, they decided to auction the two vehicles off to local businesses.

The City gave them away. I am all for helping small business but this was far from equitable for other small business and the taxpayers.
