Around 25 people attended Wednesday’s special meeting of the Loutit District Library Board of Trustees after the recent resignations of directors Sara Derdowski and Amy Bailey.
Members of the Loutit District Library staff expressed tearful disappointment during a recent library board meeting, following the sudden resignation of the facility’s two directors.
The special board of trustees meeting saw “probably the most attendance we’ve ever had,” Trustee David De Young noted at the start of the meeting.
