The Friends of Grand Haven State Park group hopes to add play equipment to the park via fundraising efforts. The group recently received feedback on what users would like to see at the park.
Organizers of a recent public input meeting aimed at deciding future playground plans at Grand Haven State Park are beginning to filter through citizen suggestions.
According to Friends of Grand Haven State Park’s Karen Casey, input from a Sept. 21 meeting, ballots turned in at the state park campground and what came from a small focus group of local children have helped glean ideas for the playground’s future.
