A Grand Rapids-based marijuana facility is looking to expand to the Lakeshore and has targeted Ferrysburg as a prime location.

People wait in line outside of the ReLeaf Center in Niles in January to buy recreational marijuana. The dispensary was the first in Southwest Michigan to open for recreational marijuana sales.

The Ferrysburg Planning Commission will host a virtual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday to discuss the proposal.
