WEST OLIVE — An Ottawa County business has been fined $2,100 by the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration for violating COVID-19 regulations.

West Olive Nursery, 8661 146th Ave., was one of 19 businesses included in a release from the state police shared with media Thursday. The businesses were cited for “failing to uphold safety and health workplace guidelines, potentially putting workers in harm’s way.”

The idea of levying a fine before giving a business a chance to comply with noted deficiencies is yet another example our Governor's blatant abuse of authority.
